Be bold, be flashy, be tempted!

One fine lovely evening, while taking a stroll along the five-foot-walk way of Taman Tun Dr Ismail, hunting for desserts after a hearty dinner.. My eyes laid upon a clothes rack (out of no where really) along the five-foot-way.. and with it.. I saw... Be Tempted Collection!
How apt I would say.. as I really was tempted by the yellow lights and pretty dresses that lined up in this tiny half-shop! =)

Becoming Mrs Kennedy

Hey hey girlies! Taking off from my last post of Jackie Kennedy's style, this post is gonna be how to steal some of that style.. Going Vintage doesn't mean dull pastle colours and unflattering bias cuts... Add a few accessories (belts, necklaces and even scarves!) to spurce it up to a more up-to-date look and ta-da.. you're good to go.. !

A few that I've picked to achieve that Jackie style, from stylish work wear to casual dresses.. Don't forget to complete your "Jackie Kennedy, First Lady" look with a great looking pair of pumps.. huge sunnies and a Hermes Scraf.. *enjoy!

A Blast from the past - Jackie Kennedy

If any of you are as a history buff as I am you would have caught the Kennedy series on the history channel.. It is a beautifully made series bout the Kennedy tradegy, but while my mum cried over John F Kennedy... I went oooh and aaahhs over Jackie's dresses...

The actress who played Jackie is none other than Katie Holmes who I must say drew a great ressemblence of her... And though I don't fancy Katie Holmes... She made Jackie's sense of style come back to life! This post is tributes the 1960s style icon- Jackie Kennedy.

Vintage Galore!

"Vintage clothing shopping is exciting and enjoyable because you can find items of clothing that nobody else has and you can find good quality items made the way they don't make things these days, from fabrics that might not even be around now. Not only are you sourcing unique items but you're also being eco-friendly into the bargain and preworn clothing is considered desirable by those frequenting the red carpet to the local fashionista" - WikiHow

In the last week, I was frantically scouting for Vintage Dresses! I needed a set of dresses that could capture the 1940s look for an upcoming swing dance performance .. What's swing you may ask.. Just a brief introduction...

"Swing dance" is a group of dances that developed with the swing style of jazz music in the 1920s-1950s. The best known of these dances is the Lindy Hop, a popular partner dance that originated in Harlem and is still danced today..
