Yes, super long title , what to do -  instead of saying one word " LAVANA " which none of you will know what the bubblegum ( lady aphordite chooses to be sweet and polite ) am talking about , I make it more oomph for you to read =) hehe . Fear not, LAVANA will not be ancient to you after this. It is THE MOST BESTIEST LOVELIEST AHHHHH-EST spa I as a spa whore has been to. Catch : it is in my beloved second home of Bangkok :p

So most of these spas and massage places firstly advertise one picture and you go to the place expecting the picture in your pc and oops the tile is different or the sheets aren't as white or the pillows dont fluff no more. Lavana is exactly as you see it ! it is my spa place to be every trip I make to Bangkok and I will entice you later with what package I do and boy, will you will be in shock when I tell you the prices.

First things first, Bangkok has loads to offer besides shopping! you can find massage parlours everywhere you look at ( literally ) on every street corner. Whether the cheap price of RM 20-30 for a full body massage or maybe RM 15 for head and shoulders - sure the skill is fantastic for an after shopping delight. Now, what if you would like the REAL PAMPERING ? :P

Here, we are . LAVANA :) their website is http://www.lavanabangkok.com/ and they have everything from packages prices to what the place looks like and you can make reservations by phone or email right here from home before your trip. My  all time favourite is their Package 2 which is a 3 hour of happiness involving a body massage & body scrub. I have been to the same spa almost 4 times and walked out raving about it even more :P All i spend for 3 hours is RM 198!!!!! :)

You can sign in at the counter then await at the waiting area which is filled with lemon grass scent( pssst my favourite for my spa visit) and you can even take a walk to look at their oils and scrubs on sale. They will be using them for you anyway and after your spa, you would be tempted to make a purchase :P You will be given a pamplet survey to answer any health issues or questions and also which parts you would need a massage focus on. Then you can choose your massage oil to be used from the selections below.

Then on call, they will take you to a little chair to pamper your feet with a wash and scrub for your clean little pinkies ready for your massage. Wanna see the massage room I would kill to go back for ? ahhhhhhh

Yes it is exactly as it looks, comfy cosy and smells amazing! You will be given a disposable underwear and also a shower cap as you leave your clothes at the hanger at the side.

First up is the body scrub. They don't just " place" the scrub on your skin, they SCRUB your skin like its scrubbing a plate or floor so not painful but VERY EFFECTIVE! you get lighter armpits and flawless buttery skin when you shower after at the shower attached to your massage room. The scrub takes 60 mins :) full!

Now next the massage will be using the oil that YOU CHOOSE. Yes you can choose between the above oils you see in the pic . And the massage goes on every piece of your body for 2 hours ( i kid you not) :P Every bone, every muscle , every nerve gets the attention it deserves of your tired pampered body and like me , you may wake up at the 120th minute with your own snore / snort =) I AM PROUD to say that was how satisfied i was :P
