A touch of nostalgia

Remember that time where us girls had to pick a pressie for a brother / boyfriend / guy pal, and the headache of trying to find something special for them? Electronics? - too expensive.. Socks? - too boring (and cheap).. Books? - getting desperate...

As mentioned in Miss Juicy's post previously we stumbled upon Pestle and Mortar at the recent chic pop market... It was a nice surprise to have among all the girly stuff a store selling guys t-shirts packed in pizza boxes!

Introducing Pestle and Mortar
What made me happy was that my shopping companion was able go find something for himself to keep him entertained for a bit while I get to browse on my own without feeling too guilty lol!

So what makes Pestle and Mortar stand out? It's their unusual prints which reminds us of good ol Malaysia thru our eyes...
They pay homage to our local hero... our neighbourhood rotiman who never fails to bring us our bread with that distinct beep from his horn..

Or the DVD seller with his trusty walkie talkie by his side..

My fav ... Maggie goreng telur mata kerbau.. To remind me of those late mamak sessions... Where one plate is just not enough!

Also an honourable mention to our support towards piracy

However if you're not too keen on having that thought of nostalgia... or having "Malaysia represent" on your t-shirt...Pestle and mortar have plain tees with their signature pocket too! Sizes available run from S all the way to XL.

If you worry about the tees being of pagoda tees quality.. Be rest assured the cotton material is of good quality and comfortable to wear... And the colours do not bleed during the wash (adding more to the design)

Good news to all Pestle and Mortar fans... They have just recently opened a physical store at lorong dungun, off jalan damansara... Their modest shop has a nice sentimental touch.. stocks all the tees that you see online... If you do intend to pop by their store do call them up to make an appointment first as the guys are not always there..

Next time you're thinking bout a gift for your man... Think T-shirts.. Think Pestle and Mortar! * smile... Stay fabulous!
